If someone were to ask me what was my most powerful seo tool do you know what I would tell them? No, it wouldn’t be some type of expensive seo tool but rather a free one that’s available to literally anyone with an internet connection.
It’s also not Google but it’s one of their many products. What I’m talking about is Google sheets.
I use this tool all the time. It doesn’t matter if I’m in my office, if I’m traveling overseas, or if I’m browsing the web from my smart phone. I can access my keyword list at any point of time.
This is great, because I browse the web a lot and I tend to find amazing seo copywriting examples or keyword ideas that I can later research. All I do is open up Google sheets and add the new keyword there to further investigate later.
If you’re using Google’s Keyword Planner for keyword research then you can download your keyword lists in .csv or .xls format and then import it to Google Sheets.
Something else that I love about Google Sheets is that it’s distributed. Since it’s hosted on the cloud you can easily share your spreadsheets with others. This is convenient if you’re outsourcing certain tasks and want to share it with freelancers.
Google sheets also come with templates for certain tasks such as: to-do list, annual budget, monthly budget, expense report, and even travel planner. Not sure if you be needed any of those, but thought it would be worth the mention ;).
